Danforth Lighting Center

Litecontrol is registered with the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) and is committed to developing quality learning activities in accordance with AIA/CES & HSW criteria.

Space at the Danforth Ligting Center is dedicated to the exploration and use of new technologies and materials for the advancement of lighting fixture design and performance.

Visitors have the opportunity to compare and contrast a wide variety of lighting systems, including differences between suspended indirect lighting and recessed parabolics. Applications are presented using multiple lighting systems with different light levels, plus vertical surface illumination.

Danforth Lighting Center also provides space for development of job mock-ups of customer applications to demonstrate lighting alternatives and fixture performance.

Danforth Lighting Center includes 15,000 sq. ft. of space dedicated for real-world lighting applications and lighting education. Join our programs to receive credits (LU'S) toward your yearly CES/HSW requirements. LEU's are also offered for NCQLP-LC re-certification.

Litecontrol educates the industry on the benefits of quality lighting environments. Our experience is on full display in the Robert W. Danforth Lighting Center, a 15,000 square foot education, demonstration and mock-up facility located in Massachusetts. Here we demonstrate the impact of quality lighting using full-scale classrooms, offices, labs, retail spaces and hospital rooms.

Qualified programs for AIA & NCQLP continuing education credits are available upon request. Litecontrol offers one-and-a-half day continuing education programs for lighting specifiers. Sessions begin on Thursday evening and conclude Friday evening.
