Working at Litecontrol

The long-term success of Litecontrol is made possible by its people – the employees who design, develop, manufacture, support and market Litecontrol products. Because every employee is important to the Litecontrol team, the Company is committed to:

a) attracting and keeping the best people available; and
b) treating them the way they expect and deserve to be treated.

This philosophy is reflected in part of the Company’s mission statement, which says, “We’re also committed to providing an opportunity for Litecontrol employees and extended family to prosper and grow in a positive environment that promotes creative solutions to commercial and institutional lighting problems.”

Conveniently located on Massachusetts’ south shore, half way between Boston and Cape Cod, the Company’s 175 employees fabricate, paint and assemble architectural lighting fixtures at two fully integrated manufacturing facilities totaling 450,000 square feet in Hanson and Plympton, MA. The Company provides a pleasant place to work, opportunities for growth, competitive salaries and benefits for all Litecontrol employees to share in the Company’s success.

In the fall of 1999, the Company became partially employee-owned, with the establishment of the Litecontrol Corporation Employee Stock Ownership Plan and Trust, and the purchase by the Trust of a significant portion of the Company’s stock from the founding Danforth family. In December 2007, Litecontrol announced that it purchased the final shares of the company from the Danforth family, and became 100% employee owned. The ESOP recognizes the efforts of Litecontrol’s employees by rewarding them with the additional benefits that ownership provides.

Litecontrol offers equal employment opportunities for all, without regard to race, color, religious creed, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, ancestry, physical or mental disability, veteran status or any other legally protected classification. The Company’s policy is to hire and promote the most qualified applicants and to comply with all applicable federal, state and local equal opportunity laws.
