Sustainability

We established our commitment to producing sustainable lighting fixtures by becoming the first manufacturer to achieve Cradle to Cradle Silver Certification for all products made within our two Massachusetts-based factories.

LiteCycle wiring, developed exclusively for Litecontrol, eliminates the PVC-based
wiring material used by all other manufacturers.

The biggest environmental impact of lighting is the energy used during operation. We design our fixtures with the latest optical and thermal techniques to achieve 85-95% efficiency ratings
with our most popular types, saving energy during operation.

Our powder-coat paint lines produce no VOC emissions or hazardous waste.

Litecontrol takes responsibility for the impacts of our actions on the world around us.

At Litecontrol, we understand what it means to be a good neighbor. Our factories are located in rural communities in Massachusetts, amidst the homes and cranberry bogs of our neighbors. Decades ago, this made us aware that we must take responsibility for the impacts of our actions on the world around us. Coupled with our employee-ownership, this awareness means that we take a broad view of what constitutes a quality product and a quality lighting manufacturer. Our products and our performance reflect our commitment to the process of sustainable lighting.
