Q: What is LEED?
A: The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System® is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings.

In several construction categories, LEED prescribes a point system by which a building may obtain standard, silver, gold or platinum certification as a measure of sustainable design. For more information, visit www.usgbc.org .
