Can Wall/Slot be installed after the ceiling is installed? What colors can Litecontrol’s fixtures be painted? Can the 2D lamp in the downlight compartment of Scion be dimmed? Why is row information important for a project? Q: Is there any significant difference in performance between the Inde-Pendants fixtures? A: No. The optical engine that sits inside the housing shell of Scion, Nexus, Echelon and Mantra is identical. Therefore these fixture designs exhibit identical up-light batwing distribution, with very minor differences in down-light distribution, depending on the down-light shielding used in each design. The down-light percentage ranges from 3% to 10%. Similarly, the optical engine that sits inside the housing shell of Scion jr, Nexus jr, Echelon jr and Mantra jr is identical. Therefore, these fixture designs exhibit identical up-light batwing distribution, with very minor differences in down-light distribution, depending on the down-light shielding used in each design. The down-light percentage ranges from 2% to 6%. back to top Q: Can Wall/Slot be installed after the ceiling is installed? A: It is preferable to install Wall/Slot-II before the grid ceiling is installed, but it can be installed afterwards. Wall/Slot-II must be installed before a drywall or plaster ceiling. Wall/Slot-2000 should be installed before all ceiling types. back to top Q: What colors can Litecontrol’s fixtures be painted? A: Litecontrol offers a fixture color palette of 21 standard "LiteColors", including vivid shades, muted hues and metallic tones. We can also match any custom color, when supplied with a 2” by 2” color chip. (We require a color chip to make sure the number we receive matches the color.
