Classroom Lighting Calculation App - Now available for Droid

We recently announced that the Classroom Lighting Calculations app is available for free download in the Apple iTunes store. And now the app is available for droid phones, for free, in the Google store. Just search Litecontrol. Download today to calculate energy efficiency and cost for lighting in standard classroom settings. top 

Litewave HE Recessed Lens Luminaire 

The Litewave HE is a recessed enclosed luminaire that boasts efficiencies of over 80% in many configurations. Litewave HE provides diffuse lighting from a one-piece extruded acrylic lens with sloped sides and a rectilinear central section that adds interest and visual appeal. We will be ready to take orders and ship product beginning February 21st for the 2x2 and 2x4 sizes, with the 1x4 version available in Q2 2011 (contact the factory for 1x4 availability for specific project needs). All sizes are available with 1, 2 and 3 lamp T8, T5 and T5HO lamps. LiteSpeed is available for the 2x2 and 2x4 in units of 50 or less beginning February 21st. Staggered Mods

Our Applications Engineering group has developed modifications to our Mod-44, Mod-45 and Mod-66 fixtures to enable staggered lamp configurations. We have successfully designed and shipped many of these types in pendant, recessed, and wall for both T5 and T8 lamps. We will be updating our marketing literature in the near future to show this capability but in the meantime, don’t hesitate to request staggered lamps for your Mod projects! top

Litecontrol Custom LED fixture in England

On a recent trip to England, Litecontrol's very own Amy McCarthy stopped by the largest computer retail store in Covent Garden. She snapped some great photos of the custom LED fixtures that Litecontrol designed and manufactured for the store. The luminaires measure 7'x5' and 5'x4'. The diffuser is 1/2" thick clear acrylic with a frosted finish on the bottom and a translucent white film applied to the top. top

Dr. Bob Davis Article in February LD&A
