At Litecontrol, we design our lighting solutions for K-12 and higher education facilities to help satisfy the needs of students, teachers, and administrators. We support the goal statement for school lighting developed by The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America: "Provide a visual environment for both students and instructors that is supportive of the learning processes and is responsive to the psychological and emotional needs of learners." High quality, sustainable school environments have been linked to higher student test scores and lower absenteeism rates for students and teachers.

With the changing dynamics in instructional methods and with society's emphasis on lifelong learning, we want to be sure our solutions are flexible enough to stay relevant for many different learning styles and audience groups.
