Damp Location Fixtures
Damp Locations are defined by UL 1570 as “… interior locations protected from weather but subject to moderate degrees of moisture, such as some basements, some barns, some cold storage warehouses.” Fixtures to be provided for Damp Location conditions will be galvannealed material, double-coated with a special primer and a special top-coat paint, in addition to providing ballasts which have a Type 1 construction marking. Indirect fixtures are not available with a damp label. Steel fixtures are not recommended for damp locations. Contact factory for availability and pricing.
Wet Location Fixtures
Litecontrol does not manufacture wet location approved fixtures.
