Industry Involvement LITECENTER
A 12,000 square foot design and technology center created for the purpose of lighting education. Highly interactive sessions bring building and design professionals from across the country together for a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and practical experiences. AIA/CES Registered with the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System the Litecenter program qualifies attending AIA members to receive credits toward their yearly requirement. A Corporate Sustaining Member of the Illuminating Engineering Society since 1946. With representation on a variety of IES committees including: Quality of the Visual Environment (QVE), Office Lighting, Sustainable Lighting Committee. LIRC Litecontrol is an active, supporting member of the Lighting Industry Resource Council. Providing direct assistance in the education of future lighting professionals, our programs include The LITECONTROL Scholarship and other grants. Scholarship awards from $1,000 to $10,000 are available to students in degree programs leading to professional careers in the lighting industry.
