Performance SpecificationsSAE P-ID-9700These performance specifications are written for use in plans and bid documents. They are intended for reproduction as precise descriptions of the technical specifications for Litecontrol products. The indirect/direct luminaire shall be 4 1/8" high by 11 3/4" wide , in an arcuate shape. The housing shall be die-formed and welded 20-gauge steel. Housing shall have knockouts of .875" diameter spaced 3" OC to provide easy alignment of support points with existing or special pendant location requirements. Wiring channel cover shall snap on/off without tools for easy access to ballast and wiring. End headers shall be threaded in two locations for easy row mounting with no special tools. Splines shall be provided for precise alignment of housings at fixture joints. Fixture shall be available in 4-, 8-, and 12-foot lengths. End caps shall be 14-gauge steel with no holes or knockouts, finished to match housing. The blade baffle shall be a one-piece, 4-foot long, 20-gauge steel assembly, finished either matte white or matte aluminum gray. The blades shall be radiused, 1" high, spaced 2" OC, providing a 27° shielding angle. The 2" blade spacing shall be continuous and uninterrupted along the length of rows of joined fixtures. The parabolic baffle shall be 3/4" high and made of semi-specular, low-iridescence aluminum. The blade spacing shall be continuous in rows of joined fixtures. Both baffle types shall be installed and removed by "lift-and-shift" method, supported on either side rail by the fixture housing. A stainless-steel safety tether shall be provided at each end to maintain positive attachment to housing. Lamps shall be removed/replaced from above without any handling of baffle. Fixture shall be a minimum of 56% indirect and maximum of 44% direct distribution, with the following minimum efficiencies: 85.6% for two-lamp T8 with BW baffles and 77.5% for two-lamp T8 with BA baffles. Fixture and electrical components shall be UL and/or CUL Listed and shall bear the I.B.E.W., A.F. of L. label.
