Performance Specifications66 Wall Indirect/DirectThese performance specifications are written for use in plans and bid documents. They are intended for reproduction as precise descriptions of the technical specifications for Litecontrol products. Luminaire shall be nominal 6" high by 6" wide and shall be available as direct, semi-direct, indirect/direct, recessed, pendant, surface, and wall-mounted. Fixture shall be die-formed and welded 20-gauge steel, with 3/8" regression at housing bottom for rigidity and appearance, furnished with 6" long, 20-gauge steel splines for insertion at each side of housing at junction of fixtures in rows for precise alignment. End headers shall have clearance holes for easy row installation and shall be notched under lamps for more even diffuser luminance and continuous baffle appearance. End caps shall be 14-gauge steel, with no holes or knockouts, finished to match housing. Four fasteners on each end cap allow close, fast attachment to ends of individual fixtures and ends of rows. Recessed fixtures for grid ceilings shall have a continuous mounting rail along sides, with bottom flange regressed 1/16", used as a lateral spacing aid between main T-bars and to allow clearance for T-bar supporting wires and mounting of side clips. End caps that straddle T-bars attach to ends of fixtures and ends of rows. Recessed fixtures for plaster or drywall ceilings shall be provided with two 1-3" adjustable mounting yokes. Reflector shall be die-formed steel with high-reflectance white finish. Fixtures shall be one- or two-lamp T8 and shall have several options for diffusers, including parabolic reflector/baffles for one-lamp T8 using semi-specular anodized aluminum blades, 1.4" high x 2" OC; parabolic baffles using semi-specular anodized aluminum blades, 1.4" high x 2" OC; blade baffles using white 20-gauge steel blades, 3/4" high x 3/4" OC, regressed; as well as the lens and louver options. Corners, tees, crosses, and straight extensions shall be available. They shall be die-formed 20-gauge steel with bottom and exposed sides to be smooth with no exposed fasteners or knockouts. Each system connector shall have a rigid cross-member with a .687" diameter stem hole at center to accept any of Litecontrol's pendant assemblies. For recessed fixtures, lighted or non-lighted corners and unlighted filler sections shall be available. They shall be die-formed and welded .032" thick aluminum (filler sections) or 20-gauge steel (corners), with 3/8" regression at housing bottom, with continuous mounting rail along sides similar to housing. Baffles or diffusers shall be continuous between fixture housing and connector. Fixture and electrical components shall be UL and/or CUL Listed and shall bear the I.B.E.W., A.F. of L. label.
