Performance Specifications

These performance specifications are written for use in plans and bid documents. They are intended for reproduction as precise descriptions of the technical specifications for Litecontrol products.

The luminaire shall be an indirect, or indirect/direct circular fixture. Bottom housing shall be 31 1/2" in diameter, 16-gauge spun steel, with a beveled shape in cross-section, and a 12 1/2" diameter opening in the middle. Recessed chassis shall be 20-gauge spun steel. The reflector shall be die-formed, .025" thick, specular hammertone aluminum. The bottom housing shall be supported by two arched 1/4" by 7/8" aluminum arms, 39" wide, 7 7/8" deep, intersecting at 90°. The aluminum arms shall be connected to four aircraft suspension cables. The up-light component shall accommodate three 39-, 40-, 50-, or 55-watt compact fluorescent lamps or six 39-, 40-, 50-, or 55-watt compact fluorescent lamps. A decorative suspended acrylic ring, 1/8" thick, 20" outside diameter, 14" inside diameter shall be available for the indirect version. An optional down-light component in the 12 1/2" diameter opening using one 21- or 38-watt 2D lamp shall be available, with a down-light shielding assembly consisting of six 1/8" thick flat acrylic diffusers of descending diameters (18" Max., 5" min.). The acrylic diffusers shall be evenly spaced at 1/2" intervals. The indirect fixture shall be 84% efficient with three 40-watt compact fluorescent lamps and 80% efficient with six 40-watt compact fluorescent lamps. The indirect/direct fixture shall be 77% efficient with three 40-watt compact fluorescent lamps as up-light and one 21-watt 2D lamp as down-light, shielded by a six-layer diffuser assembly; or 75% efficient with six 40-watt compact fluorescent lamps as up-light and one 21-watt 2D lamp as down-light, shielded by a six-layer acrylic diffuser assembly.

Fixture and electrical components shall be UL and/or CUL Listed and shall bear the I.B.E.W., A.F. of L. label
