Litecontrol celebrates 75th Anniversary!

Originally founded in Boston, MA in 1936, Litecontrol started as a manufacturer of quality incandescent fixtures.

During the late 1950's, Litecontrol's focus switched to producing linear fluorescent lighting.

By developing the Wall/Cove system in the 1980's, Litecontrol was established as the premiere perimeter fluorescent lighting company.

Both Litecontrol factories are located amidst cranberry bogs and neighborhoods of Massachusetts' South Shore.

In 2008 Litecontrol earned the lighting industry's first Cradle to Cradle Certification for all fixtures produced in their two Massachusetts-based factories.

TODAY - Litecontrol continues to provide quality lighting systems for commercial and institutional spaces across the United States and world-wide.

With 75 years of experience, Litecontrol has consistently stayed ahead of lighting trends. We are dedicated to the idea that a given space with a given purpose requires its own lighting solution. Our luminaires offer a wide range of solutions with a variety of shapes, sizes, mounting methods and lamping options. Our facilities utilize the latest technologies to ensure that all of our products maintain the highest quality standards with the least impact on the environment. Based in Hanson, Massachusetts, Litecontrol designs and fabricates products at two fully integrated facilities that total over 450,000 square feet. A 100 percent employee-owned company, we offer a broad range of products and unparalleled customer support services before, during and after installation.
